Ruth Chapereka
Managing Director
Ruth Chapereka is the Managing Director of Gulf Drug Company. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) Degree from the University of Zimbabwe, a Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies management from CIPS (UK) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration, with the University of Kwazulu-Natal (RSA). Ruth has a vast wealth of experience in various sections of Pharmacy. Ruth started her career as an intern and later became a Senior Pharmacist at The Harare Central Hospital from 1987 to 1995.
She later was employed by Ministry of Health and Child Care, (Government Medical Stores) as a Buyer, and later became Procurement Manager of the successor, National Pharmaceutical Company (NatPharm) between 1995 – 2004. Prior to joining Gulf Drug Company, she was managing proprietary community pharmacies between 2004 and 2016. She has previously served as a council member of Pharmacists Council of Zimbabwe between 2010 to 2015.

Anselmo Majube
Quality Control Manager
Anselmo Majube is the Quality Control Manager of Gulf Drug Company. He holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Chemical Technology from the Midlands State University and a Master of Science Degree in Renewable Energy from the University of Zimbabwe.
Anselmo obtained Graduate Traineeship from Zimchem Refiners (Pvt) Ltd as a Research & Development Chemist. He has also gained Analytical and research skills as a Quality Control Analytical Laboratory Analyst at CAPS Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Ltd.
Anselmo has also been engaged as a Technical Manager at Integrated Hygiene Systems (Pvt) Ltd, where he specialized with Quality Control in the manufacturing and distribution of detergents and disinfectants as well as compliance to ISO standards for certification.
He joined Gulf Drug Company in 2025 as the Quality Control Manager responsible for monitoring & control in the manufacturing of Pharmaceutical products.

Joseph Musarurwa
Technical Director
Mr. Joseph Musarurwa has attained a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) from the University of Zimbabwe, he is also a holder of a Diploma in Pastoral Studies from the Faith World Bible College. Joseph has over 15 years of industrial experience having worked in cGMP compliant facilities within the Zimbabwean pharmaceutical manufacturing sector in various capacities.

Simbarashe Chiheve
Finance
Simbarashe Chiheve is a holder of a BCOM Accounting Honours Degree from the Midlands State University (Zimbabwe). He has previously held position of an Audit Clerk at MBM Certified Chartered Accountants Zimbabwe & has also worked with Varichem Pharmaceuticals as an intern. Simbarashe Joined Gulf Drug Company in 2016 as an Assistant Accountant.

Nyasha Chapereka
Marketing & Business Development
Nyasha is a Marketing professional with a strong foundation in Business Administration. He has an entrepreneurial background and has successfully established ventures in the Branding and Signage industry. His experience extends across the Property and Tourism sectors, where he has developed a deep understanding of business growth, customer engagement, and brand strategy. Nyasha holds a Master of Business Administration from Curtin Business School (Australia) and a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from Murdoch University (Australia).
